Maulana Arshad Madani, President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, openly spoke on the National Executive meeting of the organization held in Delhi on Thursday (August 28, 2025) on communalism, Modi government policies and many social issues. Madani targeted the government and communal forces, referring to the challenges before the Muslims. He praised the recent proposals of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Addressing the meeting of Jamiat, Madni said that I spoke to Mohan Bhagwat for one and a half hours. I said that we should be allowed to live in the way we have lived. We are happy that the RSS has realized that Muslims will have to do closer.
Arshad Madani praised RSS fiercely
Arshad Madani said that if the RSS is standing for the brotherhood of the country, then we hope that communal forces will be weak. The president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind said that earlier I met him on the call of RSS, but now I think we should call them and meet them. RSS wants to unite Hindus and Muslims. We want this suggestion to move forward. With this, the country will move forward and this is our old date.
We are not against RSS- Madni
Madani praised his proposal on the completion of 100 years of RSS. He said that we liked the proposal that RSS proposed in his committee. If there is talk of coming with Hindu-Muslim, then we are not against RSS. He told that he met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat 8 years ago and he said the same thing. He said that if he gets a chance, he will meet again. Regarding the temple dispute of Kashi and Mathura, Maulana Arshad Madani said that our view in this matter is the Vership Act of 1991.
