Heavy rain havoc in Telangana, SDRF rescues trapped family, alert issued

The torrential rains in Adilabad, Telangana for the last few days have caused widespread destruction. Life has been badly affected due to flood and strong water flow in Adilabad district. Rivers and drains are in spate, causing traffic to come to a standstill and many people got caught in crisis.

Meanwhile, adventure efforts of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), police and local people saved many lives. A family was trapped in flood waters in the Both area of Adilabad. The SDRF team took quick action and evacuated all the family members.

District administration released alert

In another incident, two lorry drivers were trapped in strong water flow. Local police and villagers rescued both drivers with the help of ropes. This adventure work is being praised a lot in the field. However, the incident of a car washed away in the flood exposed the seriousness of the situation. Fortunately, the people in the car went out safely in time.

The district administration has intensified relief work in flood affected areas. Collector Rajarshi Shah directed to establish control room and provide immediate assistance to the affected people. Those living in low -lying areas have been advised to be vigilant and avoid unnecessary travel.

Warning of rain in the next 24 hours

Gates have been opened due to increase in water level in reservoirs like Kadam Narayan Reddy Project, so that floods can be controlled. Local people say that insufficient cleaning of drains and lack of infrastructure have made the flood situation more serious. The administration is demanding that long -term measures be taken for permanent solutions. The Meteorological Department has warned of more rain in the next 24 hours, due to which the administration is on high alert.
