Nehru bungalow: The historic bungalow built in the Lutyens zone of Delhi, where once the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru lived, has now been sold. The deal of this bungalow has been fixed for about Rs 1100 crore. This bungalow is on 17 York Road (now Motilal Nehru Marg) and is considered in the most special address in Delhi.
According to the FPJ report, the initial price of this bungalow was kept at Rs 1400 crore, but after the conversation it was reduced to Rs 1100 crore. This bungalow was currently with Princess Kakkar and Bina Rani, who is considered associated with the royal family of Rajasthan.
Bungalow is spread over 3.7 acres
This bungalow is built on the land of about 14,973 square meters (about 3.7 acres) and its constructed area is about 24,000 square feet. According to reports, the name of the buyer of this bungalow has not been revealed yet. However, it is being said that the buyer is a big industrialist in the country, whose work is related to the beverage area.
The deal is currently in the final stages. A large law firm is investigating all the legal papers of this property. The lawyers have also issued a public notice under the legal process. It says that if someone has any claim on this bungalow, then he came forward within seven days. After this, no claim will be valid.
Lutyens zone is very special
This bungalow of Nehru is very special due to its historical identity and being in Lutyens Bungalow Zone (LBZ). The area is spread over 28 square kilometers and was designed by British architect Edwin Lutyens in the early 20th century. There are about 3,000 bungalows here, most of which are given to ministers and judges as government houses. At the same time, about 600 bungalows are with private owners, who have been bought by the richest families in the country.
