Where is this bridge built?
This bridge is built in the Kung Valley near Sairang, which makes the traffic easier by removing the challenges of the mountainous region. This bridge helps to cross the deep valleys, which reduces the time of travel from 18 hours to 12 hours. With the connect of this bridge and rail network, freight will be less than 50 percent. Apart from this, tourism will also increase by 40 to 50 percent.
The fate of the people of Mizoram will change
PM Modi said that for the first time Sararang of Mizoram will be directly connected to Delhi and it will work to revolutionize the lives and livelihood of the people of Mizoram. Farmers and traders here will be able to easily reach the markets across the country directly. People will also get better opportunities for education and healthcare.
