There is a possibility of thunderstorms daily from 28 August to 1 September. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of heavy rains in UP, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan on Thursday. At the same time, the rainy season will continue in Jammu too. The risk of landslide has increased due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
In the western and eastern part of Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms on August 28. Although there has not been alert of heavy rain anywhere in the state during this period, light rain may occur in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Amroha and Moradabad.
Changed weather patterns in UP
Light drizzle is also expected in Rampur, Pilibhit and Bareilly in UP. Similarly, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Badaun, Sambhal, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Baghpat are also expected to rain. On August 29 and 30, there is no hope of heavy rains in the state. There will be a change in weather from 31 August.
Possibility of heavy rains in many districts of Bihar
There is a possibility of light to moderate rains in West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan and Saran, while the rest of the districts are forecasted in the rest of the districts. According to the Meteorological Center, time is left in the monsoon farewell. That is why it will rain due to a few days of breaks. Right now there has been a decrease in rain activities, but according to the forecast, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many districts of Bihar during 30, 31 and 1 September.

Rainfall is forecast in the southern parts of Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department said that on August 28, there is a light-medium rains in some parts of the state and heavy to moderate-level rain in the southern parts. There is a possibility of heavy rains at some places in Kota, Udaipur division.
Trouble in Punjab
Due to continuous rains in many parts of Punjab for the last two days, the flood situation in Kapurthala district has become more serious, while people in Ferozepur have started vacating villages especially on the banks of river areas. Due to excess water and heavy rains from Pong and Bhakra dams, the water level of rainy river-drains including Sutlej, Beas and Ravi rivers has increased rapidly.
